Sid Stromme graduated from Western College

of Auctioneering, Billings, MT, in the spring of 1972. Shortly thereafter he

started a successful family auction business with his wife, Elaine,

and 4 children – Mary, Lesley, Shawn, and Warren.

· Sid was a director of the North Dakota Auctioneers Association

for 3 year sand President of the North Dakota Auctioneers

Association in 1981.

· Sid was the North Dakota State Merchandise Auction Champion in 1982.

· Sid was invited to teach courses on auctioneering at the Western College

of Auctioneering in Billings, MT for 3 years and has also instructed courses

on auctioneering at the Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT and

at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.

· Sid was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA)

working as a rodeo announcer and contestant during the 1970s and 1980s.

· At the present time he is conducting auctions at our farm, also known as

The Round Pen Auction Arena, located ¾ mile east of Manhattan, MT.

He also sells auctions with his son-in-law Jeff Jedlicka and daughter,

Lesley, who now have a successful auction business of their own

in Thompson Falls, MT - Jedlicka Auction Service.

His son, Shawn, is also an auctioneer in western North Dakota

and Sid will occasionally sell auctions with him there.

· Our Auction Staff consists of Sid, his wife, Elaine, his daughter, Mary,

his son-in-law and daughter, Jeff and Lesley Jedlicka, his son

and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Heather Stromme and

youngest son, Warren.
